Ledyard River Festival
(Hanover, NH)
Dartmouth College's Ledyard Canoe Club is hosting its 2nd Annual Ledyard River Festival this year April 16-18th.
The weekend will start off with a run-bike-paddle triathlon on the afternoon of Friday April 16th. Saturday will include the 7th annual Wells River Rumble in Wells River, Vermont. We had our largest turn out last year and expect even more competitors this year. Saturday afternoon there will be a kayak rodeo at Sumner Falls on the Connecticut River in Hartland, VT. Sunday will conclude the weekend in Lebanon, NH with the Mascoma Slalom - the longest consecutively held whitewater slalom race in the US.
The weekend will also include a festival party Saturday night on Dartmouth's campus with an LVM premiere, both a DJ and live music plus food, beer, raffles, and prize giveaways.
Everyone is encouraged to come! Even if you're not a whitewater paddler, you can try your hand in the triathlon. The whitewater competitions all have great viewing areas and should be fun and exciting to watch. Or at the very least come hang out at the festival party!
