Spring Conference
(Mid-Hudson Region Rosendale, NY )
IOCA's annual get-together including trips, camaraderie, dinner, and a gala square/contra dance. Don't miss this -- held in the heart of the Hudson Valley on the Snyder Estate, 668 Route 213, Rosendale, NY 12472. Rosendale is located on route 32 between Kingston and New Paltz; The Estate is about 1.5 miles west of the intersection of 213 (Main Street) and route 32. Assuming we will get a great turnout, we are keeping the cost to a minimum, charging less than the last 2 years. So Y'all Come! Cost for the event (which includes dinner on Saturday night, the cost for the campground, and the square/contra dance) is: $25 for registration received before April 17, 2009; payment postmarked no later than April 18; $30 for registration on or after April 17, 2009. We will be camping in an open field, with no facilities, behind the Century House Historical Society and above the Widow Jane Mine. You'll need a tent and whatever you need for meals (except for Saturday dinner which we will provide). The Saturday dinner and the square/contra dance will be in a pavilion at the Rosendale Recreation Area on route 32, about a mile and a half from the estate (we will drive there).
Registration Please register as early as possible so we can estimate attendance; you can register: as a group or as an individual. If you are coming with an Outing Club, they should register all together. The following information needs to be provided with each person registered and send it in an email to Brian Sudran: conference@nccouting.org
