Ledyard River Festival

This April 17-19, Dartmouth College's Ledyard Canoe Club is hosting its first annual Ledyard River Festival. There are no major paddling festivals in the Northeast in the Spring, and we're hoping to fill that void. We're planning two creek races (on the Wells River in VT and on Pond Brook in NH), a rodeo, and a triathlon, as well as a film premier on Saturday night and a conservation presentation on Friday night. We'll also have industry sponsors giving away tons of free gear on Saturday night.
There will also be an intercollegiate competitive element (though the festival and races are open to everybody), and so we're encouraging colleges to pre-register for the events (the two races, the rodeo, and the triathlon). So, spread the word to your members, and if you are interested in pre-registering, let me know and we'll be able to offer you a discount.
