[IOCA] WINTER FEST - 2009 @ CSC in VT (TBA) --- RESPOND ASAP ---

HELLO ALL,

 Here is an idea we are throwing around and want to make it happen. It
is easy for us to do yet just a little help from the Crew of us during
the event will make it work GREAT!

-It is for Outing Clubs, Mountain Clubs, Ski Clubs/teams, Board
Clubs/teams, XC Clubs/teams, Outdoor Programs or just college peoples
that want to have fun or experience something fun or new!
-Think about networking, fun, relaxation, chill people and weather(we
are betting on its good - if not we have a back up place)!

Thus far we have had just under 10 colleges voice interest!
-The dates are based on time thought to include those going off on
abroad trips + weather patterns of past winters...

So lets get talking and moving on this event.
 Ideas? Lets hear them

WHAT UP:
Camping, Music, Movies, Fire, Cooking , Hot Coco, Fire Warm’d Apples,
Sledding (MRR, Toboggan, & Hammerhead + Fun Comp.), Ice Climbing, Ice
Skating, BackCountry, Telemark, Skiing, or Boarding (Invite Freestyle
Club to help set up a rail jam, big kickers, etc.), Self trips to local
Ski/Board Mts, Snowshoeing, X-Country Skiing, Indoor Rock
Climbing/Comp/Fun, Clinics....   

(Help Make Ski Furniture *Ask about B4 Coming) 

Free rentals with deposit...
Gear if needed!
Most of all FUN - learning - experience - networking!

- I know Birdseye MT at least the front would be good with Ed Davis...
(Plans were talked over last year this same time)
* We would make sure all the bases are covered!

**Food thoughts… ($5 to $10 per person or bring a dish or something for
potlucks + Bring/Buy your own Breakfast & Lunch?)
**Get 1 or 2 portapotties!
**Talk to VA, Tammy, ED, Ennis, PED (Help) & others
**WASTE? (3 plastic bins – Cans, Plastic, Glass, Real Waste +
TerraCycle)
**WHAT 2 do paper! – EMERGENCY + Comp. Waivers + Gear To Bring List!
**Talk with Sponsors / Giveaways / Gear / Promos?  (MRR - Hammer Head
Sleds - EMS - OGE - Petzel - CLIFF - MORE???)…
