MITOC is hosting an avalanche rescue class.  There May be a second one
offered the following weekend if there is enough interst, so please

This winter MITOC will be hosting an avalanche rescue class based out of the
Intervale cabin the weekend of Feb 16-17th (Presidents' Weekend). For a

Cost for the training will be $150 for the course, plus $10 for use of the
cabin. The standard rate for this training is $250 + lodging so this is a very
good deal. This course is for paid MITOC members only ($10 yearly
membership if
not already a member). We may elect to do group meals for the weekend
which will
add a small additonal cost.

The course has a limit of 12 students. Anyone who signs up after the first 12
will be put on a waiting list in case someone drops out. If there is
overwhelming interest it may be possible to do another course the preceeding
weekend.
