Happy Summer IOCA members!

 

I hope you're having a great summer and playing outside a lot.  

 

I would like to introduce myself as the new IOCA Executive Secretary for
2007-2008.  My name is Michelle Moon, and I recently graduated from Mt
Holyoke College where I was a leader with the outing club for 3.5 years.  I
look forward to working with many of you to arrange IOCA events in the
coming year.  Our former Exec Sec, Christiaan Adams, is moving to San
Francisco, where he will enjoy the mountains and ocean.  He will still help
out with the IOCA website until we find a new webmaster.   

 

This year, IOCA's 75th anniversary was celebrated on Mount Moosilauke in the
White Mountains of New Hampshire, where it all started 75 years ago!  Check

to Roland Vineyard of IOCAlum for getting the word out!  

 

IOCA has two upcoming trips in the near future.  August 24-27, there will be
Green River Reservoir State Park in Vermont, and of course there is Fall
Lake George at the end of September.  Details are available on the IOCA
website: http://www.ioca.org/trips/.  There may also be a rock climbing trip
to Quincy Quarries in August. watch this list and the website for more info.


 

If you have any ideas for trips, or want to become more involved in running
