[IOCA] Equipment Resource Update - EMS Club Day

Hello all,

As the Intercollegiate Outing Club Association's Equipment Resource Manger,
I have some exciting news.  Eastern Mountain Sports (EMS) one of IOCA's
favorite retail stores is having its biannual "Club Day" sale in a little
over a week.

The sale is 20% off everything in the store.  EMS has changed the name of
the sale from "Club Day" to "Update your Technology Sale."  Despite the name
change, the end result is still the same if not better.  The sale now begins
on Thursday, October 21 at 3pm for club members (with some proof that you
belong to an Outing Club).  This means that those of you who are going on
trips that weekend won't miss out.  The sale continues all weekend through
closing on Sunday night.  It also looks as though after Thursday's pre-sale
for Outing Clubs, anyone is eligible for the 20% off.  This too is a change
from previous years.

For more information (like to see if there is a store near you) check out
http://www.ems.com.  There isn't any information about the sale there now
but I am guessing that any day they will post something.
